Ferrari Enzo 2011

IN an interview with British magazine Autocar, Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa hinted that theupcoming Enzo geberasi will come with a V8 engine twin turbo direct injection. Ferrari'scurrent flagship model uses a 6.0 liter V12.

Current perception, the number of cylinders the engine determines the ability of the car.That's why the Ferrari to develop hybrid technology that can be applied to automobileengine V8 and V10 them, as said Felisa told Autocar.

Ferrari boss also said that Ferrari will not expand the use of carbon fiber in barbagaimodel as did rivals like McLaren, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, although this lightweightmaterial will be used on the Enzo which is planned to present the latest in 2012.

The reason, Enzo is a car that has a low production volume and not for use as a daily vehicle. "In fact, until now nobody has a real understanding of what happens if you damage the carbon fiber structure," said Felisa.
